Bayfield Gardens is a family owned greenhouse located in Bayfield, CO. This will be the seventh season Ernie and Kathy Mathers have owned and operated the store. Bayfield Gardens also has a satellite location located in the Centennial Plaza *Office Depot Parking Lot* in Durango, CO. This store is run by Ernie and Kathy's daughter, Janelle Farnam. Deliveries are made almost daily of our freshest product by Ernie and Kathy's son, Matt Mathers. Together we strive to make our customers happy and to provide the best, home-grown product in the Four Corners.
Everything Bayfield Gardens sells, is grown in our 26,000 sq. ft. nursery in Bayfield. We never order plants in from other companies, and we never wholesale out to any companies. What we grow...we are proud to sell ourselves, and we take pride in the quality of our plants. We try to grow as many plants as possible from seed, and those that we are unsuccessful with we order as plugs. All of our plants, from berries to petunias, are planted by hand, by our production staff. From tiny little babies, until they are ready to sell, we care for our plants in the best ways possible.
